Peninsula Speaks Inc. is a community organisation founded in 2008 to help give a collective voice to those concerned about the preservation of the unique and diverse environment and landscape values of the Mornington Peninsula, among them the incremental development and government policy threats to the Mornington Peninsula Green Wedge
Peninsula Speaks role is in coordinating or facilitating community input into shire and state planning schemes and environmental and landscape preservation
This site is a portal for easy access to local environmental, planning, council and State Government online resources as well as articles, comment and news

Finally, Peninsula Speaks Inc. has gained DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status.
This important step means that donations to PS are tax-deductible. Your financial contribution big or small will allow the group, at long last, to begin fulfilling its charter to protect and enhance the Mornington Peninsula’s environment including the vital Green Wedge and other scenic areas, now under pressure for its development value |
Peninsula Speaks will strive to be the voice of those who love the area’s beaches, national parks and rolling green farmland. We plan to bring experts to speak at local seminars and conferences on issues important to you, and to become a powerful voice in the intensifying discussion about the peninsula’s environmental future.
